For hunters and jumpers horses and ponies must be recorded with NorCal to be eligible for year-end points and other bonus programs offered by NorCal. The horse, its owner, and its rider must all be NorCal members for points to accrue. If you are leasing a horse; the horse, its lessee, and it's rider must all be paid members of NorCal, and the NorCal office must be notified in writing of said lease.
To be eligible to compete in any of the NorCal Medal Classes, the the rider must be a norcal member, and the trainer must also be a current member. For both equitation & medals the rider may compete on any horse (wether recorded or not).
